We have sadly had to find another date for this tasting menu - keep eyes peeled for the next date.


​Due to the success of our first tasting menu on New Year's Eve, we are excited to be holding a second on St Patrick's Day.

The event will kick off at 18:30 with a fizz and canapé reception, and sit down at 19:00. 

​We have a vegan alternative to each dish, taking into account gluten free options too.

Please make us aware of any dietary requirements and/or preferences and whether you’d like to participate in the wine flight.
 £60 a head with wine flight   ---   50% deposit required upon booking.

Our Rooms

We now have eight beautifully finished letting bedrooms accessed via the new stunning staircase.  Each has its own en-suite bathroom.  The Inn is ideally located either for business, only one mile from Norwich airport and Horsham St Faith Industrial Estate, or pleasure, close to the Norfolk Broads and North Norfolk coast.

The food is fresh, homemade and built around signature dishes – homemade, individually served, “autographed” pies, all with at least ¼lb of meat; crisp, interesting fresh salads and vegetables, locally sourced and carefully cooked steaks, with a rotating range of innovative fish, vegetarian and pasta options.

"Best Sunday Dinner..."
Today we had Sunday lunch at the Black Swan and this had to be one of the best Sunday dinners I have ever had; two courses for £14.95.  We had the prawn and crayfish starter then the roast beef with a huge home cooked Yorkshire pudding and not those horrid frozen ones that some places serve. The veg came separately and they were cooked to perfection; especially the cauliflower in white sauce.  I could not fault it and highly recommend it to everyone.

Great snack lunch
Having travelled almost the breadth of England, a good lunch break was much needed and we were not disappointed with the Black Swan. The table we had was beautifully situated in the window overlooking the charming village green. The seating was comfortable and the service excellent. Both the sandwiches and the foccacia that our group had were well prepared and very tasty. The size of the helpings was almost overwhelming, but the price was reasonable. As I was driving, I could not sample any of the wide choice of real ales.

Went for Sunday lunch and I must say it was excellent. 2 courses for 15 quid which is great value and the quality of food was top notch. Had roast beef for main and the beef was superb. Service was very good top. Will certainly be returning.

Wonderful food and service
I went here Friday evening to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband. This is a lovely restaurant/hotel which has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The atmosphere here was very friendly and relaxed. One of those places that as soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food and service was faultless. I had the steak and ale pie which is the best I have ever tasted. I only wish I'd had room to try a dessert!

A big thank you to the chefs and to Stu, Tanya, Connie & Andreas for making our evening so special. We will definitely visit again and on a much more regular basis.
